Dan Phillips


Daniel Phillips is an EMMY award winning makeup artist, who worked on The Hobbit films, films such as Real Steel, Into the Storm, Detention of the Dead, and Oz the Great and Powerful, T.V. series like Low Winter Sun, and was one of the Season 6 guests on SyFy's FACE-OFF! 

We are very excited to have him attending, and performing a makeup demonstration for our guests! D.P. Studios

501st Legion


The International Marine City Comic Con has secured the 501st Legion for this year's event! Great Lakes Garrison is a subdivision of the 501st Legion, the premier Imperial Star Wars costuming group in the world. GLG operates in the state of Michigan and was originally a part of the Midwest Garrison as "Michigan Squad," and then separated into a full-fledged Garrison in December of 2007. Since then, the GLG has contributed significantly to the greater 501st and Star Wars communities.

Scott Jones


Born a twin, father was into some bad stuff so he was sent to live with his Aunt & Uncle. Met the hermit neighbor, a scoundrel & his large dog. He went on many adventures that

took him to many strange locations including a desert, a place full of snow and a forest. He finally confronted is father and turned him from is dark ways. Currently he is living on an island and pursuing his love of art, creating pop culture images and drawing Sketch cards for Topps Trading Card Co. Star Wars sets, including Journey To The Force Awakens, Rogue One and The Last Jedi.

Arvell Jones


Arvell Jones will be attending our 4th annual con as a special guest.

Arvell has been drawing comics for a long time, his earliest work appears in Marvel Comics' Marvel Premiere #20-22 (Jan.-May 1975).  Drawing the martial arts superhero Iron Fist, he also co-created the character MISTY KNIGHT, along with Tony Isabella for the Iron Fist series. Misty Knight was featured in Netflix "Luke Cage" in 2016. 

He also worked on All Star Squadron for DC Comics.   He's worked as a producer for TV shows such as Totally Twisted Flix, The Movie Show Plus, DocU-This and then held the titled of Vice President of Development for CoLours TV, he has been Adjunct Faculty professor in the Illustration Department at the College For Creative Studies. He also has worked as a storyboard artist for a production company. Now serves as company president for a video production company called Encode Entertainment LLC. Between all of that he still finds time to teach and mentor interested artists in working in the comic field where he co-created the 20 year old running Comic Art Workshop. He returns to comics working on commissions for fans and two Indy projects.

Josh Sawdon

Josh Sawdon will be attending and performing at the IMC3! Josh is a highly skilled Magician specializing in street magic and stage shows set towards all ages, and has some fun in store for our comic con! The Fabulous Kim Turner & her Face Painting


The International Marine City Comic Con is proud to announce that local artist Kim Turner to do face painting during this years Con. She is a wife, a mother and an artist and she loves all three. She has a multitude of interests but has always enjoyed art. Kim has painted for various businesses in Marine City such as Willie Wonka for the Sweet Tooth and a complete mural at The Blue Pike. Come meet Kim and get your face painted!

This locally owned Gremlin (Hendrick Family) was an icon back in the 1970's . The AMC Gremlin (American Motors Company) Gremlin is an American subcompact automobile  introduced in 1970, manufactured and marketed in a single, two-door body style in America  from 1970 to 1978.

Southeast Michigan Ghost Hunters Society


We are the oldest paranormal group in the state of Michigan. We have  been conducting investigations for 22 years. We have conducted  investigations in many locations including Gettysburg, Ohio Reformatory,  Villisca, IA, Lizzy Borden House and Waverly Hills in Kentucky. We were  featured on the Discovery Channel's 'A Haunting', our episode was  called 'The Attic' and we were also featured on a DVD called ‘A Haunting  on Hamilton Street’. Our main purpose is to help homeowners with any  activity they might be experiencing. We never charge a fee for our  services. We also help in fundraising with 100% of the proceeds going to  the people that are hosting the fundraiser.
