Dan Phillips

Daniel Phillips is an EMMY award winning makeup artist, who worked on The Hobbit films, films such as Real Steel, Into the Storm, Detention of the Dead, and Oz the Great and Powerful, T.V. series like Low Winter Sun, and was one of the Season 6 guests on SyFy's FACE-OFF! 

We are very excited to have him attending, and performing a makeup demonstration for our guests! D.P. Studios

501st Legion

The International Marine City Comic Con has secured the 501st Legion for this year's event! Great Lakes Garrison is a subdivision of the 501st Legion, the premier Imperial Star Wars costuming group in the world. GLG operates in the state of Michigan and was originally a part of the Midwest Garrison as "Michigan Squad," and then separated into a full-fledged Garrison in December of 2007. Since then, the GLG has contributed significantly to the greater 501st and Star Wars communities.


Scott Jones

Born a twin, father was into some bad stuff so he was sent to live with his Aunt & Uncle. Met the hermit neighbor, a scoundrel & his large dog. He went on many adventures that

took him to many strange locations including a desert, a place full of snow and a forest. He finally confronted is father and turned him from is dark ways. Currently he is living on an island and pursuing his love of art, creating pop culture images and drawing Sketch cards for Topps Trading Card Co. Star Wars sets, including Journey To The Force Awakens, Rogue One and The Last Jedi.

Josh is a highly skilled Magician specializing in street magic and stage shows set towards all ages, and has some fun in store for our comic con! The IMC3 is happy to welcome back the General Lee and Sheriff Rosco's patrol car back to the Comic Con's Auto Alley. These great vehicles were actually used during the filming of the Dukes of Hazard and are autographed!

This locally owned Gremlin (Hendrick Family) was an icon back in the 1970's . The AMC Gremlin (American Motors Company) Gremlin is an American subcompact automobile  introduced in 1970, manufactured and marketed in a single, two-door body style in America  from 1970 to 1978.

Southeast Michigan Ghost Hunters Society

  

The Southeast Michigan Ghost Hunters Society is the oldest paranormal group in the state of Michigan. They have been conducting investigations for 22 years throughout Michigan and nationwide - including Gettysburg; Ohio Reformatory; Villisca, IA; the Lizzy Borden House and Waverly Hills in Kentucky. They were featured on the Discovery Channel's 'A Haunting', in an episode called 'The Attic' and were also featured on a DVD called ‘A Haunting on Hamilton Street’. They have also written 3 books on the paranormal. Their main purpose is to help homeowners with any activity they might be experiencing and they never charge a fee for their services.

***They will also be having a presentation at noon – showing evidence and telling stories from many of their investigations. Come hear the stories, watch video evidence and listen to actual EVPs!!!***

The Fabulous Kim Turner & her Face Painting

The International Marine City Comic Con is proud to announce that local artist Kim Turner to do face painting during this years Con. She is a wife, a mother and an artist and she loves all three. She has a multitude of interests but has always enjoyed art. Kim has painted for various businesses in Marine City such as Willie Wonka for the Sweet Tooth and a complete mural at The Blue Pike. Come meet Kim and get your face painted!
